How I work as a psychologist

No One Size Fits All…

I come from a varied set of experiences over 20 years and in different countries and languages… so no matter your concerns, fears, or problems , I have heard a lot of peoples’ difficult life histories, intense traumas, private thoughts, never-before-told secrets, etc.

I am a safe person with whom to open up & share. You can be assured that you will be treated in a safe, respectful, and confidential manner.   In addition, you can count on me to me to be objective, honest, compassionate and proactive in helping you heal & find your way to being the person you were meant to be– your best / healthy/ true self.

***My treatment approach depends on the clients needs & no client is exactly the same.

Therefore I have been trained in various / different treatment models including:

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy , Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Oriented Therapy, ACT,  Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic,  Family Systems, Positive Psychology, along with Gottmans methods and Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples counseling.

Note:  I may utilize methods from different ones or blend them– to suit individual needs.  In general, I primarily focus on present-day problems and barriers to find viable solutions, so you can get “unstuck’ & move forward to actively participate in life as soon as possible.

It can very helpful in therapy to examine your process of thoughts and exploration of feelings which can be messy/scary, and it may also mean exploring underlying experiences, motives, and systems that contributed to your present state. However, this insight may help you to break some old ineffective patterns, so you may have a brighter future.
